Oct 24, 2022 Written by: [Life At ALKU](https://blog.alku.com/alkrew/author/life-at-alku) Tyler has seen monumental success within Healthcare IT, and he is extremely effective in developing ALKU’s future leaders! Keep scrolling to learn more about Tyler! **What is your favorite podcast?** The Corp **Who would you want to have coffee with?** I would want to have coffee with Kobe Bryant. Kobe Bryant was not only an unbelievable father & person, but he was arguably the most tenacious, competitive, focused, and hard-working person we have ever seen. If I were to have coffee with Kobe, I would want to know about his preparation and mindset, more than anything. What was Kobe doing to separate himself from the other great competitors out there? It all starts with a mindset, and I want to know more about that. **What ERGs are you a part of?** ALKU Parents, and then I also sit on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council. **What ALKU Gives Back events or programs have you participated in?** I have not been able to participate in any of the rides or races, but I donate every single year to the causes that ALKU is supporting. I was a part of the ALKU Scholarship Committee this year which was an absolute blast! I also participate in the ALKU Pay it Forward Program, where a deduction of my pay goes to charity. **Are you involved in giving back to your local community?** Yes! I’m involved with donation facilities and I read books in classrooms at my children’s school. I am also involved in Toys for Tots every Christmas. **What’s your career theme song?** “Let’s Go” – Calvin Harris **What app can’t you live without?** Door Dash and SNKRS **What is your favorite office lunch spot?** Azteca Mexican, my go to order is Pollo Poblano! **What is your go-to pick from the snack closet?** The chocolate and nuts trail mix **How do you Have Fun Working Hard™?** By keeping the office energy as high as possible! Staying positive, and upbeat, and making sure everyone has the resources they need to be successful. **What is your biggest career advice?** Don’t ever settle or be content with your current success. Push yourself to levels you have never been to because, in the end, you will surprise yourself with what you are capable of accomplishing. **Tyler’s Bio:** Tyler Bush joined Holland Square Group in 2016 and saw immediate success leading the EHR groups. When ALKU acquired HSG at the end of 2017, Tyler was monumental in the success of merging the recruiting teams within Healthcare IT. Tyler has been the driving force behind the success of the Cerner teams. His leadership has led to a massive group and individual achievements across the Healthcare IT brand. Tyler has proved to be extremely effective in developing future leaders at ALKU. As Director of Healthcare IT Recruiting, Tyler is responsible for overseeing the Cerner, and Epic recruiting teams and developing strong leaders who will continue the strong growth of the Healthcare IT brand.
