You may recognize her from [Boston Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 list](https://www.alku.com/lauren-pacella-named-to-boston-business-journals-40-under-40/). Keep scrolling to get to know one of Boston’s best and brightest professionals! **What is your favorite podcast?** The Daily and The Morning Toast—a good mix of current events and pop culture (my guilty pleasure). **Who would you want to have coffee with?** Brian Kelly, aka “The Points Guy”- Brian took a love for travel and credit card points, two of my favorite things, and created one of the world’s biggest and most well-known travel media companies. **What ERGs are you a part of?** I’m a part of AWE and State of Mind. **What ALKU Gives Back events or programs have you participated in?** I’ve run the Falmouth Road Race twice. In addition, for the past six years, I’ve participated in the Rodman Ride for kids. Between these initiatives, I’ve raised over $15k throughout my time fundraising for Mass Mentoring Partnership! I’m excited to be a part of the ALKU Scholarship Committee this year! **Are you involved in giving back to your local community?** I have been heavily involved with Dream Big over the past few years. I’m a member of their Women’s Empowerment Circle and fundraising for them through the Boston 10k for Women. Dream Big is a charity that helps girls and young women from low-income situations achieve their dreams. They provide them with equipment, sports attire, and fees that enable them to participate in sports and activities that contribute to their health, education, and overall well-being. **What’s your career theme song?** “Touch the Sky” by Kanye West. **What app can’t you live without?** Resy/Open Table. **What is your favorite office lunch spot?** LaRosa’s, my go-to order is the Il Panino. **What is your go-to pick from the snack closet?** Dunkaroos! The best snack of all time. **How do you Have Fun Working Hard™?** Coming into the office and experiencing the high energy of being in person, laughing with those around me, and hearing deal songs blasting! **What is your biggest career advice?** Keep taking up space by taking every opportunity that comes your way! **Lauren’s Bio:** Lauren graduated from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and joined ALKU in 2012 as a Payroll and Billing team member, focusing on personnel services. Since starting at ALKU, Lauren has continued to develop her teams parallel to company growth. As a Vice President, Lauren oversees all aspects of Human Resources, Benefits, Events and Facilities Planning, Payroll, and Personnel Services for all seven of our office locations. Lauren will continue to work with the Leadership team to develop and drive overall business initiatives and vision.
