Feb 16, 2026 Written by: ALKU Media

Nick Vignone’s journey at ALKU began in 2011, and over the past 15 years, he has become a transformative leader, shaping the company’s ERP division and mentoring the next generation of leaders. Under his guidance, ALKU’s Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP) division reached $159 million in revenue in 2025, positioning it among the largest staffing groups today. Last year, ALKU achieved its highest-ever placement on SIA’s Largest IT Staffing Firms list, ranking #20—a testament to Nick’s direct influence and leadership. With an impressive 37.4% gross margin in 2025, the ERP group is expanding into new markets and now accounts for 28% of ALKU’s total revenue. Beyond the numbers, Nick values the culture his team has cultivated: “Seeing employees grow into top performers who create new opportunities is incredible. As one of ALKU’s biggest and longest-tenured teams, our camaraderie is crucial, and ERP excels in fostering that.”

As ALKU continues to grow and evolve, Nick plays a pivotal role in keeping the company agile and adaptable while steadfastly supporting its employees, most recently demonstrated through his leadership of ALKU's Data Information Security & Sciences (DISS) and Healthcare Information Technology (HCIT) groups . His influence spans key programs, including the development of the company’s flexible in-office policy, the establishment of leadership cornerstones, and the growth of ALKU’s Explorers Program—all of which contribute to ALKU’s ongoing success and culture of innovation.

In addition to overseeing ERP, HCIT, and DISS, Nick also oversees ALKU’s Leadership Development team, which trains and supports future leaders. A passionate and visionary leader, he co-founded ALKU’s Futures Program, which has graduated over 150 employees. Through mentorship and strategic guidance, Nick has helped shape career paths and foster a culture of growth, directly contributing to the development of successful leaders across the organization.

“Growth, leadership and consistency: three words to describe Nick Vignone. Nick has been instrumental in the growth of the ERP brand since he started with ALKU in 2011. Recently, as Vice President of ERP, Nick’s leadership contributed to the brand’s growth over the last three years during a challenging period in the staffing industry. Under Nick’s leadership, ERP has continued to gain momentum. Creating new divisions such as Infor, Semiconductor, Microsoft, and Dayforce allows more opportunities for employees to advance their careers and grow ALKU. Nick is one of the earliest leaders in the office every day and has a passion for all things ALKU. His enthusiasm for ALKU’s continued pursuit of greatness comes through in meetings and his interactions with colleagues. Additionally, Nick’s commitment to leadership development through managing ALKU’s Leadership Development Team and developing leaders within his organization make him one of ALKU’s best at creating leadership excellence. His ability to connect with leaders outside his organization and have impact is also a key strength. Nick is committed to continuing to grow our technologies brands, and to playing a key role in helping ALKU continue to be a personnel development machine. Please join me in congratulating Nick on his promotion to Senior VP of ERP.” – Andrew Bull, CEO & President

Nick achieved a personal and professional milestone in April 2024 by completing his first Boston Marathon, raising over $16,000 for Mass Mentoring Partnership (MMP). A long-time ALKU partner, MMP ensures young people in Massachusetts have access to quality mentoring. “I grew up surrounded by mentors—from coaches to bosses to family. I wouldn’t be where I am today without their support. Living in Boston for 13 years, running the Boston Marathon was a dream, and experiencing the city’s energy during race time was incredible,” Nick shares. Throughout his 14 years at ALKU, Nick has actively supported the company’s partnership with MMP. In 2023, he participated in the Falmouth Road Race and Rodman Ride for Kids. In total, he has raised more than $20,000 for MMP through company initiatives and by supporting colleagues’ fundraising efforts. In 2025, Nick took on an exciting new challenge—running the New York City Marathon in November to support Special Olympics MA, with a fundraising total of $5,000.

"Nick Vignone is one of the most accomplished people we have here at ALKU. He came to us right from UMass Amherst in 2011 and had immediate success as a Recruiter. It didn’t take long for us to see that not only was he going to be a great Recruiter, but he also showed tremendous potential as a leader: and he did not disappoint. Nick has been instrumental in turning ERP into what it is today. He developed many ALKU Managers, Directors, and Senior Directors. He has had the vision to see where the new markets were that his brand should be starting, everything from Workday to Infor to Microsoft to the most recent launch of ALKU Direct. Nick’s promotion to Senior Vice President is beyond well deserved. His journey has been incredible here, and it will only get better. Congratulations, Nick!" – Jon Kujala, COO

In his new role, Nick will continue to provide leadership and guidance to ALKU’s technologies brands: ERP, DISS, and HCIT, while simultaneously driving company-wide leadership development initiatives and expanding his impact in helping ALKU achieve its overall goals. Congratulations, Nick!
